Even if he was just a hot asshole, he was great.

My favorite episode of the whole series is "Children of the Lamistas." It is the only episode where Cutter fights shirtless, and I was kind of hoping for more fights, but never happened.

I get that Cutter is the sidekick, balancing out eye candy when need be, but wowza!
