Domain moved successfully
Yay! My old provider went out of business, and I had to move my domain. This seems to have been successfull, at least the mail works again. And soon I'll upload the first, real pages.
This is a little embarassing
I am responsible for the Writing Challenge at a certain board. Today the second challenge finished - and I won it. That pleases me, because I do put effort into it, but it is emberassing, as well. Maybe I should stop entering them - but they are too much fun to give up.
At any rate I put a little picture in my siggy, and I will keep it there for a few days - advertising the challenge. I hope that many more will join into the fun.
Almost done! I do want to brush up a few scenes, but I also want to be done with it!
So, new deadline: end of this week. And then.... a break. There are two books waiting, and I do need a free head for my other projects.
The presentation went very well - surprisingly well considering that I personally thought I was going to talk hot air, mostly. But no, they enjoyed it, we had a nice discussion, and afterwards I was told it was one of the best presentations in the class. Boy, am I glad I decided not to sit through those hours! They would have been utterly wasted.
From now on I will be able to concentrate on my story. Yay!
Another work load
Just when I thought I could finally concentrate on my book, I got a call from a teacher, telling me that my presentation had been moved forward (without consulting with me) and will be due next tuesday. I quit that class but promised to do the presentation anyway. I have to learn to say no.
Trouble is, I will be away over the weekend - and thursday is also filled. So - I have tomorrow and monday evening to get it done, because there is also my office work. Hardly any literature at the Uni library, either. I hate this.
At least there is a bit on the net, and hopefully I'll get my laptop tomorrow. A few MPEG clips would go far, and the rest is improvising.
