I used to be the one who ALWAYS maintained their dreads. Always crocheting them to make them perfect. Ever since I let my dreads be natural I have never been more happy with them! They have bumps, zigzags, and a big mat forming at the scalp but I LOVE IT!

People without dreads don't understand that it's not just hair to me. These are my dreads...I mean, MY dreads. They are beautiful. Having them makes me feel free. Free of the worldly lies of people telling you how you have to look. It's so peaceful to know that I can be me and not let anything anyone else says bother me.
