Write Worthy Classes start Sept 15; registering now for classes and workshops (Beaverton)
Now, there’s a fresh new school year just around the corner – and with it lots of new opportunities! I hope you can join us at Write Worthy for some this year.
Here’s a quick summary of the upcoming classes and workshops…
Writing Classes
Weekly writing classes give students the opportunity to experience a structured classroom and meet new friends as they develop their writing skills.
Classes begin on September 15, so there is still time to register.
2009-10 Classes
2nd-3rd gr. Joyful Writing – Thur, 10:30-11:55
3rd-4th Writing and Literature – Wed, 10:00-11:55
4th-6th Writing and Publishing Stories – Wed, 12:00-2:00
5th-7th Writing about Northwest Heroes – Tue, 10:00-11:55
6th-8th Riveting Reports – Tue, 12:00-2:00
7th-9th Essay Formats with Scientists and Inventors – Thur, 12:00-2:00
Workshops
Write Worthy Workshops are fun, intense, high-quality, short-term classes that give children a positive, structured classroom experience along with enrichment and instruction in writing, bookmaking, science, and more.
