WELCOME to the CHOC Talk, the message forums of the CHOC Board (the Christian Homeschool Online Community Board for westside, and general, Portland, OR). These forums act as "classified ads" and message boards for Christian homeschoolers, and businesses and organizations that serve homeschoolers, to connect with each other to share specific details and information, including time-sensitive events, useful to the homeschool community. We have been double listing curriculum/services specials which have a registration deadline both on our Calendar Talk and our Curriculum and Services (for sale) Talk. If that's too confusing, let us know, and we'll consider changing it to where Curriculum and Services, even those with pressing deadlines, are only listed on one forum, ie, the Curriculum and Services Talk. We've felt it might be useful to list those with pressing deadlines on Calendar Talk for those with an eye to their calendar, and re-list those specials along with others which are not date specific for families who are specifically looking for classes and program specials. We will continue to strive to make our board and forums efficient and useful for all.
