I know it says trashcan but is this the place to test out new custom links for Runboard and get help fixing them?

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
My very first animated gif attempt:
This one was set with a 40cs frame delay, are they (the running men) to slow?

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
Yup, too slow.
Try to get the two frames closer to each other. Too much back and forth motion.
When you place them, make the top one 50% opacity so you can get them right on top of each other. Then return opacity to 100%.

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
Thanks for the tip Skokey, I'll give that a try and put another couple of frames in to get the "rest of the story" on the link. Animating is way more complicated than simple graphics but I am trying...

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
The "rest of the story"? Does the guy in the back overtake the guy in the front or trip him up?

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
They're still running a bit slow and it's a little grainy.
If you're using the Gimp, you should be able to fix the graininess by playing with the color indexing method before saving. I don't know how it would work on other graphics programs.

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
You might have to add or subtract frames so that the pacing of the runners remains constant.

Re: Custom Runboard link help?
I am at almost 74kb now, is there some way to optimize a animated gif?
