I would like to delete my account but couldn't seem to find a way to do so myself so could you please delete my account?

The account to be deleted is: pilgrimspursuit

Thanks!

I know that the accounts cannot be deleted. But found these two quotes for you.

The user cannot delete her profile. Runboard doesn't offer that option.
However if she really really really really wants to leave, she can just log out of her account, and never log back in.
In case she is tempted to log back in, as an extra measure, she can got to her control panel, and change her settings, with the password, just mash the keyboard indiscriminately so she has no idea what she has hit, change the email address to 1 that doesn't actually exist, then log out, and walk away.

Just go in where you change your password and hit keys at random when you're not looking, save it and it's gone from anyones use once you've logged out. Delete the email notification, no peeking!

But I also know that you can't change the address to one that doesn't exist as they have to be verified. So I think the password change is the best option just hit the keys and don't look, and then never log in again, or try to.

I can still ask to get my password recovered. What do I do then?

You can cry and beg until you're blue in the face, but you're still not gonna get it unless you have a way of logging into that nonexistent email address. emoticon

Lesa I have found that the email address doesn't change until its confirmed.
So i change my email address, but if I don't click accept in the email it sends to the new address, it stays the same and doesn't change at all, so that would mean that changing the email address wouldn't make any difference then, and you could actually get your password back.. emoticon
Or you could change it to a email address that you don't use anymore, or just make a hotmail one and never use that again. But oh what a fuss.

But what I don't get it why anyone would want to do that anyway, Runboard Rocks.

I forgot email changes had to be confirmed. I guess if you really wanted to lock yourself out of your account completely, you'd have to change your password to something long and random, sign up a long and random email account, copy and paste that email address in when you change it at Runboard, confirm the address change, delete the email address if you can, then log out of both accounts - if you can't delete the email account, otherwise just log out of Runboard.

But I wouldn't want to do that either. Even if I wanted to leave a particular board, there are still plenty of other Runboards out there to join. emoticon

It seems to be so much to go through. I mean if you dont want to come on here, dont come on here. If you have to come back for a peek then you never really wanted to leave in the first place, so come back. emoticon

Some folks don't have strong self-control/will power.
If everyone could just do what was exactly right for them.......there would be no need for self help clubs such as AA or GA... emoticon
