Please help, I dont know how to change the look of my board
Im very new and i have never made or opperated a forum before and im not sure how it is structured in relation to customisation.
I am pretty good at html on myspace but i feel this is likley to be a whole new ball game.
Im looking for a stylish premade skin or whatever they are called to apply to my board, and also trying to find out how it is all done.
I feel a bit silly :S
If anyone can help me with this id apreciate it so so much.

HTML is HTML, whether it's on myspace, runboard, or a website that you've created from scratch.
There are many areas where you can use HTML with Runboard, like user levels (Here The Mooseman's level is "Moderator," Spirithorse is "Global Administrator," and you are currently "Registered user"), separators (also known as category headers), your Custom Language Set (where you can change words that appear throughout the board), and for most of your HTML customization, the HTML header and footer.
To get to the HTML header and footer, go to your control panel, scroll down to the dropbox to manage your board, click on the layout/colors customization button, then click on the custom HTML button.
Note: Never put HTML in your CSS area, unless you run out of room for HTML in your HTML area and you know how to properly close off and open all applicable HTML tags in order to do so.
Here's how the HTML headers/footers work:
HTML Header:______________________

| Put your custom HTML here

All the board's content will appear here
HTML Footer:______________________
|
| Put your custom HTML here
|
|________________________________
So any HTML you want before the board's default content goes in the header, while everything after the default content goes in the footer.
If you are also good with CSS, you'll be happy to know that a lot of the HTML tags used in Runboard have class names, so you can single many elements out for even more customization.

You know for competitions and things, how do you change like the theme or decorations of your board?
And then change it back again?

The best way that I've found is to create a duplicate board in addition to a test board. Copy over the CSS, HTML, CLS and the Colors & Theme page and you have an exact copy. When your contest or Holiday theme are over copy them all back over to the main board. The test board can be used to create the contest or holiday boards.
I update my duplicate board every month depending on changes I may have made and to keep it active.
