Orange Tastic 2.0
The image above shows the new improved Orange Tastic 2.0 theme. Based on Smackdown5's original theme created back in 2005 I have updated it with LeSigner Girls help.
The new theme:
1. loads in less than 8 seconds
2. allows the board owner to change graphics, board name and logo/motto and background all without doing away with the signature "orange tab" of the theme.
I am donating this to RunBoard if they want it so it can be available for any one. The link to the board will show the new Orange Tastic theme until May 15, 2007 then I'll be starting on my next project so the codes will be moved over to my Design Elements board.

I only helped a little. You're the one who did the major overhaul on the code and compressed the graphics to make the page load so fast. Well done, Pastor Rick!

Oppps, I should have said less than 8 seconds (the avgerage is 7.696 seconds) for those using a 56k modem connection .

The hardest part is working the file size down to 28kb or less. The default CSS is 15.1kb right off the top so all I really have to work with is 12.9kb!
I tried checking no to appending the default CSS but it still shows up when running the web pages speed report  ....

After you switched the default CSS off did you happen to tweak the layout/colors page, by any chance? I discovered a bug with that when I first designed Illusia. If I changed the layout/colors page, the default CSS would automatically set itself to "yes," so I had to go and change it back every time. Since I haven't made any changes to it since November 2005, I don't know if that bug was ever fixed, but your problem leads me to believe that it hasn't.
When I view the source code of your test board, I see that the default CSS is currently set to "Yes":
