Not all of us can tell instinctively what the difference is between, for example, "Forum list master table background" and "Forum list master table border". My method has had to be change just about everything to white, change a selection, view forum, note what part of the forum was changed, go back to the control panel, change selection to preferred color, change another color, go back to forum... etc. Any chance you might add an image of a sample board with indicators pointing to what the various options change?

I have to admit that I have a lot of respect for people who manage to edit their boards' layouts on Akheva...

I'll do something to ease their pain at some point...

when i first tried to set mine up, i was overwhelmed and it looked like crap when i was done. so i cleared everything and i just went back and read the descriptions and thought about what they ment and realized: they make a LOT of sense. once i actually read them, i was able to make my board in like 15 min.

i dont think it turned out so bad.

Yea I will agree after the first or second time it is really easy. I change the colors and backround of my board weekly. Most posters request there favorit sports teams as the theme. Sso I make everything match, all the colors of the team down to the font colors. I think the thing that takes the most time is me finding an Image I like the rest takes about 20 min. With a little fine tuning to make colors match perfect.

Yup, I agree. I didn't understand it at all, then I thought about it and it worked out fine! emoticon

Here's a handy site

http://www-personal.monash.edu.au/~pstagg/colourref/#

Gives you all the colour codes for internet safe colours.

My whole point was that it would be a lot easier the FIRST time with some sort of visual guidance as to what option changed exactly what part of the forum. I agree- after doing it, it would probably be easier if I were to to do it again.
