Hello ajenery.

Have you tried The Runboard Directory?

It is the official Runboard message board devoted to board owners being able to advert their board. As for affiliations that will depend on what board you are looking through.

If say, for instance, you joined Board A, and asked to be affiliated there, you would thus be expected to also Affiliate their board at your board. It's a matter of looking, because there is no set affiliation program, it's all user to user based.

There are also many boards within the RB Directory that have specific forums for other boards to advertise.

A few boards that I recall did only this so they are there.

Thanks to all - yep I've used The Runboard Directory, but I'm also thinking of doing simple link exchanges whereby I would add links to other sites on a page setup for links. I've tried SE's but link-exchange programmes that I've seen so far, require you to cut n paste specific code that does more than simply add the link.
Not that long ago, most sites had a link along the lines of 'link with us', and you simply went to it and submitted your url on a simple form, and also specified the url where you would add their link in exchange, but many sites arn't using this simple methode now...

I tried the link exchanges for awhile and wasn't happy with them (the ones I tried). I now have a reliable host for my site though so I may start one of my own along with a webring setup.

If I decide to do so would you be interested? If I do it it will be setup as a way to promote Runboard and not just one or two boards.
