EAST GREENBUSH SPEEDBOWL AIRVIEW
On Rt. 9-20 just east of Miller Rd. behind an auction house and a pizzeria. Race 3-4 times in the mid 50s until the town closed them down from traffic problems.

Shippies is east out of Troy heading to Eagle Mills. Just past a steel deck bridge there is Shippie Rd. Note a golf course in the air view. Also scan the roads on terraserver to find your way.

CAPITAL CITY SPEEDWAY AIRVIEW
AKA McKowns Grove Speedway in Guilderland off McKown Rd. and Western Ave. near Styvasant Plaza raced in the 1930s-40s had a 1/5 mile dirt oval and a road course. This track still exsists but is not visible by satellite. Heavly wooded area and banking can only be picked out with 6-8 inches of snow on it . I took photos in the winter and found the layout. This track is just about lost.

VICTORIA SPEEDWAY AIRVIEW
Right on Rt. 20 just outside of Guilderland raced back in the mid 60s Track is sitll in nice shape

B-K SPEEDWAY AIRVIEW
On Rt 158 near RT.20 just out of Guilderland Center near Altamont. This track was 1/5 mile and raced in the early 1950s. I spoke with the land owner recently and he said he was restoring the track.......HOW COOL IS THAT !

That is terrific news! It is extremely rare to hear about any track being restored. If you hear anything more about it, keep us posted.

Havent taken any pictures yet of Whites Beach, but I do have current photos of Burden Lake, East Greenbush Speedbowl, Greenport, Capital City, Victoria.
