Mike if we can attend the VSCNA fall tour we will most likley be going in the slow group too. I actually want to look around more!

Little engines rule!
I *might* have hit a stroke of luck today. A co-worker of mine has a rotted out B210 parts car in the woods at his camp in Cobleskill. I asked him what year and he replied: '74.
That really got my attention, because that was the only year that Nissan offered the A13 [1288cc] engine in the US. It was all A14's and A15's after that. The smaller the better! 
The only catch is that I have to wait until the 15th for him to let me up there and get it. It won't be easy to retrieve it as it's really rusty and has been sitting there for 15 years. I sure hope he had antifreeze in it!

As I understand it , this time the run will end up in Fonda,same place as the start.
This will add app. 12 miles to the run.
Just wanted to clarify that point.

This is great. The Studebaker club forums have found my ad for this event and Carl Germain just signed on with his 1950 Studebaker Champion Business Coupe. There is a discussion about it here.

Dave,
I can't seem to attract any other diesels. The VWvortex and TDI forum people are not responding. A friend of mine at work pointed out to me that to group the diesels with the hybrids might not be entirely fair - as the hybrids have electric motors on board. His reasoning is that you have no chance against the hybrids.
You're they only diesel driver, what's your opinion?
