July 3rd - Double duty @ Bloomington Speedway
Greg pulled double duty at Bloomington on Friday night. Not only did he plan to run the #6J Farley Racing machine in the Super Stock class, he also was to drive the #35 Lawson Racing Modified for David Lawson in hopes of figuring out a working set-up.
Greg started in the 3rd row of the last Super Stock heat race and finished 2nd. He then jumped out of the Super Stock right into the Modified, where he was starting on the Pole. They missed the set-up and Greg finished 6th and would have to run the B-main.
In the B-main, still having some set-up issues, Greg made the feature with a 5th place finish.
In the Super Stock feature, Greg started outside row 2. He worked his way into the 2nd spot with about 4-5 laps to go. Unfortunately, he was not able to get the win, but he finished a strong 2nd, which is his best Super Stock finish in the Farley Racing machine.
Greg started in the 20th position for the Modified feature. Still having some difficulty with set-up, he worked his way to a 13th place finish.
