Lady Mac In Hospital
So okay here is the rest of the story. As ya'll know Linda had open heart surgery back in May '08. Well not long after she came home she seperated the sternum. The wiring they used broke. So her chest has been free floating for a while. The surgeon last month kinda put it back in place and told her to be careful. Well, for Linda that means just dont be lifting any weights ect... to say slow down is not in her vocabulary. Anyway this morning we got up and went out for breakfast. I noticed she had gotten real quite. Which is unusual so when I looked over at her she was white as a sheet and in some pain. I got her up and in the car and on the way to the hospital she ate 5 nitro pills like candy. Anyway, they have her settled down now and are keeping her over the weekend. Her Cardiologist came in and said on Monday he wanted to do a catherazation and check the heart itself. He also said that they were going to address the loose chest bones too. So she is doing okay and I am up here pestering her and the hospital staff.

Re: Lady Mac In Hospital
Yes, pardon me for not letting you all know sooner. The heart is fine. Seems that the heart artery that they bypassed has cleared itself and in doing so the bypass artery suffers a bit. The heart is good. They think that maybe some of the pain from Saturday was from a drug reaction of sometype so at least we dodged the bullet on this one. They ended up cutting the artery in both legs to get the tests done. Now, she has to lay flat on her back for 6 hours and not lift her head or bend her legs. The joys of modern medicine I guess. Anyway hopefully we will get her home tomorrow or Wednesday I dont know yet. Thank you all for your well wishes and prayers.

Re: Lady Mac In Hospital
Thanks Wiz, we brought her home last night and she is doing well. Dr. Nyzarian at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth is one of the best around and his work was excellent. She is doing good and after a couple lectures from Nyzarian and the Cardioligist Widerhorn I think she has gotten the message.
Our thanks to everyone for there well wishes and prayers they have all been well received.
