Everything that has happened to you in life so far is what has brought you to where you are today. The hurts, the loves, the good and the bad have made you the person you are. You're doing okay- but there's this deep desire to show your true self. Of course, it is much easier to hide yourself from others, put on a mask and be who others think you should be. You are stifling your passion by pretending. Let go of the facade and show your true self to the world. Are you honoring your passion by sharing it or stifling it and keeping it away from the world? Despite the pressure from others, your fears, embedded shame, and even the best advice from trusted friends, ultimately, it is up to YOU to make your decisions. Once you realize this, you will have greater freedom and greater control. And, by realizing that you are solely responsible for the choices you make- you will realize that you cannot blame anyone else- the responsibility will be on YOUR shoulders- no one else's. Karma from your life has brought you to this point and it is time to trust your inner guidance above anything you've been told by others. It is YOUR life, what YOU do with it is up to YOU. You can still listen to advice from others and you can seek help when you need to- but, see how it resonates inside you. If you feel doubt, chances are that the advice isn't for you. Its okay not to blindly trust someone's input. Intellect and intuition give you the ability and you have the right, to doubt what they tell you and to see things from other angles. There is no need to be obedient to anyone other than YOURSELF. The only exception to that rule is when you hear the voice of "the Creator" (or the deity of your choice). You must learn to say no, and to mean it. To become your true self, the self you need to be, you must learn to say no and you must learn the right time to say yes. You must define who you ARE and who you are NOT. Setting boundaries shows where one part ends and another begins and your choices become clearer- easier to see. This doesn't mean you always have to say "no", but it helps you to see that you CAN say it, without fear or guilt. You may feel that it is easier to give into someone else's demands. Yet, you know by setting these limits, you will grow. Don't let others intimidate you into doing things you don't want to do- they are only feeding a fear inside you. Stand up for yourself- from love, without aggression- and they will see the true you and know that you are strong and that you mean the things you say.
