Re: Race Results
Run for the pies used to be a major race. I remember them having $250 preems at the mile and 2 mile points, but you had to finish in the top 15 to collect.

Re: Race Results
9/19/09 - Northface Endurance Challenge 50M Trail Race - 5,876ft Elevation Change
5th Place - Malcolm Campbell - 7hrs 21.25
I was a little dissapointed as I ran out of water for 8 Miles way too early. It doesn't sound like a big deal but caused major cramps in the hammy's.

Ekiden Relays:
ATC men finished 2nd today behind Big Peach. Big Peach had 2 strong legs from the start. But, ATC guys still ran very well and were all very consistent. It was a good effort and I'm proud of everyone! Good job! Time to start getting ready for XC Nationals!!

Re: Race Results
The ATC was well represented in races this weekend -
Lenny picked up the overall win in the ATC 10 mile on Saturday, I took the 15 mile. Adam won the Silver Comet Half Marathon. And to top it off, Kel and Cory ran the Augusta Half Marathon this morning. Cory, in his first half marathon, won it and set a new course record of 1:12:12. Kel got 2nd overall.

Re: Race Results
2009 NYC Marathon - 2:47:52
302nd Overall / 287th Male / 52nd Age Group
This was my first NYC marathon and my first time proudly wearing our ATC singlet during a race. I had alot of the New York City fans yelling to me "Go Atlanta Track Club" especially running through central park where there were literally over a million supporters the last 4-5 miles. Can't wait to do this race again! What an unbelievable race to run.
