Joining in on Meet-Ups
Please note there are no Australian X-Trail Forum trips as we are not a club or tour company and have no insurance.
So there is no formal training program, competency standards, insurance or responsibility accepted or deliberately inferred by this community Internet discussion forum.
You may use this forum to post invites to others to meet up but this should be done (and accepted by those who do go along) as a case of one person saying: "I am going here - who wants to come".
The person inviting others is not a qualified trip leader, trainer and has no liability towards others who want to follow them. Additionally the meet-ups are not sponsored or conducted on behalf of the Australian X-Trail Internet Forum.
All members attending any off-road event on our forum are to post a message here stating their agreement and understanding of the above and forfeiting any rights to challenge the forum and/or trip organizers in case of an accident.
You will NOT be allowed to attend an off-road event before acknowledging this post.
NOTE: Once you add a post here, please make sure that you add (c) to your member ID in your signature, so you can be easily identified as a member who has already posted their confirmation in this thread.

I agree to the new rule as outlined by Jalal above as of today 4th September 2009.
If I ever get a chance to go on any "outing" it's good to get the formailities out of the way before the proverbial you know what hits the proverbial you know what.
