Hi members & admin Team
Anybody interested in a trip to Stockton Beach & around the Hunter Valley or Forster area. This time of year would be o.k on the beach, not too hot yet & the sand would still be a little hard may be.There are a quite a number of other things to do around the area to make a full day or maybe a weekend of it. I could organise a trip/event but may need a leader to assist us to navigate the Stockton Beach sand dunes. Just an idea, just a thought. Any suggestions or thoughts are welcome.

All families and friends are invited. Kids are most welcome too!

****Important disclaimer, please read the event rules before coming on this trip. They can be viewed HERE

IMPORTANT
All participants on this run are to have signed off on the new trip rules as posted HERE before being allowed to attend this trip.

Hi Dennis, Shoni and Bob,

I have some mates of mine in larger 4WD's going up on either 21/22 or 28/29 Nov for a camping weekend and fun on Stockton and I am planning on joining them.

If you would like to plan for one of these weekends then maybe we could all meet up.

Re: Stockton Beach & Hunter Valley

Hi folks
One day of the weekend of 21/22 Nov. or 28/29 Nov would be ok. by me. I would suggest perhaps one of these Saturdays would good for a meet up. Perhaps we could consider or include a Christmas Party theme with this outing. Maybe a few others may be interested & put there names forward. We could do Stockton Beach & then perhaps a drive around the Hunter Valley.??? For those that have not taken their Exy on sand or a beach before the vehicle handles it ok with very little problems & you will certainly enjoy the experience. With others to support & help you Stockton Beach is a great experience. Come & join us.
Anybody interested please post your interest & we will organise a trip.
Before committing yourself to this trip (or any other) please acknowledge & confirm that you have read & understand the terms & conditions in regard to outings organised by members of this forum. ( see page one) We could make this our Christmas outing. Presents all round. Yo Ho Ho here comes Santa

Re: Stockton Beach & Hunter Valley

Hey guys,

I would definitely be in this (I'd come all the way from Orange for it! Hubby would too - any chance to get near the drink for some fishing!). Hopefully it'll be on the 28/29 weekend as can't make it on the 21/22. Be great if it could be the Christmas do - great idea (have also read Jalal's thread for the NSW Camping trip/Christmas event).

Cheers!

Hi Dennis,

I agree with this idea and you might as well have the Xmas Party at the same time, so I have now merged the other Xmas party thread I started with this one.

Birubi Holiday Park seems like a great place to camp or stay for the night. Details HERE

Once you work out the dates and times, please update the first post in this thread with details.

At this stage, I am tentative....still un-decided.

Re: Stockton Beach, Hunter Valley & NSW X-mas Trip

Hi all,

Just out of interest I thought I'd check out the Birubi Beach Holiday Park website for accomm availability via their online booking facility.

The Friday/Saturday nights are all currently booked out (cabins and powered ensuite sites) for the 2 weekends in Nov mentioned in this thread. At this stage I haven't rung them up to see whether that means that they're all booked, or just their accomm allocated to the website for bookings. emoticon

Perhaps if this event was to go ahead, some alternatives for accommodation need to be sought out anyway?

Cheers,
