From the looks of it id say that's a Mitsubishi RVR . It also came out here in Manila under the name Space Wagon in early to mid 90's. However the model that came out here had normal sedan-like rear doors, the RVR's of Japan and other counrtries came with rear sliding-doors (mini-van style).

I agree, that is a Mitsubishi RVR Cross-Trail version, while there is also the Sports Gear version. Basically, a sports wagon version of the EVO Lancer.

EVO Lancer motor & drivetrain is pretty indestructable.
