Members Location

Hi Guys,

This has been mentioned in another forum and I think it's a good point.

Unless you're hiding from the FBI, CIA, ex-KGB, FSB or any other agency, I don't see a reason for you not to include your location under your username.

It makes it easier to relate to the topic you're posting "especially for overseas members"

It also helps form the same old question being asked over and over "where are you located?" emoticon

So, please guys hit the control panel and update the location information.

We don't need to know your address in full; just the city will be fine or the country for those overseas.

Cheers guys.

Re: Members Location

Hi Guys,

A gentle reminder to the newbies in our forum emoticon

The way to update your location details is as follows:

1. Click on the "Control Panel"
2. Click on "Change Miscellaneous Settings"
3. Update the 3rd field from the top with your location (State and City) details.

Thanks for your help guys.

Re: Members Location

Similar to the famous real estate saying:

"Location, Location, Location!"

Can I please ask the newbies to take the time to update their profile emoticon

And also another small comment.

Please include your name. Personally I'd prefer to respond to someones name than your logon name. emoticon

Re: Members Location

Hi Guys,

I am starting to notice an increased number of new members joining the forum who are forgetting to either mention where they're from or not including any details of their location in their profile when they sign-up to become members.

As explained previously, advising your location (country and/or city) is very helpful not only for statistical purposes, but it also helps answer your questions much more efficiently.

The Detailed Members List shows your location for easy reference and as you can see it is now full of blank spaces regarding location details of many new members who joined the forum.

I would really appreciate if you can update the location details in your profile or signature.
