Re: battery replacement Well I got a phone call from Clare this morning, asking me what I should've done last night. The last thing on my mind was changing the battery She said the car wouldn't start this morning - after she'd already put Josh in, to go up to the shops...
Luckily I was nearby and was able to change it for her...
The good thinking paid-off in the end, as if I hadn't already got it, I would've been a nervous wreck trying to find a battery at a good price before we head down the coast tomorrow afternoon!
I was amazed at how much quicker the engine turned over with the new battery - Before it would struggle to turn over, and take 3 or 4 lethargic turns of the engine to start it, now it feels like it starts straight away and the turns are so fast I can't count them!

Re: battery replacement Have to sing the praise of Nissan roadside assistance and NRMA batteries as the Navara was dead this morning. Turns out the battery had a faulty cell but as the Navara is less than a year old the new one from NRMA Batteries was free of charge.
Had a choice of 2 and was recommended the one with a 3 year warranty, couldn't fault the service.
