Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade
Very nice I like the power output and look of this system, the only thing that concerns me is the increased dB especially on long drives. However when sitting at $1.20 my T31 is only doing 2,000 rpm

Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade
Zhivan,
If you're concerned about the dB level, you can always fit an additional resonator to muffle the sound even more.
This system looks awesome, but am sure Hi-Tech can make something like that locally, we just need to find a willing T31 owner that is prepared to have Hi-Tech use their exy to design a cat. back system like that OR with twins, so if anyone is seriously thinking about this, let me know and I'll organize something with Hi-Tech Mufflers and you'll be able to score the first system almost for nothing.

Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade
Thanks for the offer Jalal, I am gonna do the suspension and bash plate first. I had a crawl under my car yesterday to check for any damage from my last run. I only found light rubbing on the plastic trim on the RHS rear below the bumper. I have a small dent in the resonator before the muffler too. Does the T31 have fragile ceramic coatings inside the exhaust?

Are you sure you don't mean 3000rpm, or do you have a couple of extra cogs your not telling us about.

All factory catalytic converters have ceramic based cores. It would be far too expensive for Nissan to fit high flow stainless steel ones and it would also mean "less repair jobs"

Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade
Can you do similar things with the diesel model?
I'd drive over from Adelaide and let them rip on my new diesel T31 if it was going to cost next to nix Ive got family in Sydney that could do with a visit, and im keen to take the T31 for a decent drive too.
Let me know if youd like to tee it up, sounds interesting...

Re: T31 Exhaust upgrade
I don't see why it can't be done for the diesel, however the power outputs and gains will be different to the petrol version.
At least the cat. back set-up will be the same for all T31s.
Drop me an email at the admin mailbox and let me know if you're interested.
