Spark Plugs Iridium LFR5AIX-11 1.1

Can anyone help me, I want to get a set of Iridium LFR5AIX-11 1.1 plugs, but my local dealer told me that they were not available in Australia. Is this true, or can someone put me onto a supplier of these

Cheers

 BW

I have just picked mine up from 'Autobarn'. They were $80 for the 4 of them. Together with the K&N air filter, there is a definite improvement.

Just looking at the box, stock number 6708.

 Good luck.

Yes, Nissan uses this NGK plug (LFR5A-11 1.1) but the Iridium plug is optional and can be ordered through the dealer (an expensive option though)

You can have these ordered in from Super Cheap Auto which is where I got mine. They are not a stardard item so they won't have them in stock.

Can't remember the exact price, but they were about $60. They took about 1 week to arrive to Cairns.

Cheers

[EDIT]: Exact price I payed can be found HERE

Sorry to rehash this subject but I've just had a quick look at previous posts and apart from long jeopardy if thats how you spell it what is the reason for fitting Iridium plugs as iridium is a pretty bad condutor compared to copper let alone gold and silver, silver being the best

Dave - longevity... emoticon

As for the conductivity of the iridium - I must say that I was never a science rat, but having seen almost every racing team running them, I thought that was good enough for me.

Check out this link for more info. - SCIENCE 1on1
