You can't swap the chips between different makes, although the part number looks the same, that means it is the same chip, but the program is different.
Does anyone know what these are worth, any diesel owners looked into this at all?

These chips could cost from $1300 to just over $2000.
It all depends who make it and what gains are achievable from the chip.

I got a price from them the other day,
The recommended retail of the DP-31 is $1495.

Just jumping onto this -- I've been around 4wding forums in relation to my Nissan Patrol for many years now (back to about Y2K or earlier at a guess).
And I have seen some rather poor practice between this company and users making criticisms including threats of legal action aganst the forum host, the poster etc.
And further to this, in choosing a diesel mechanical workshop, most seem to prefer others such as Cooma Diesel in that area.
And lastly - I won't be putting a chip onto my XTrail - as there isn't a DTronic to suit..... they do great R&D and make a good product (I guess that is why they only have a limited range, but know people with the DTronic fitted to current or former 4wd's and got good results, one guy has done about 160K touring Oz in a 100 Series TD Cruiser).

Nah i didn't get to borrow it. Its on its way around Australia towing the caravan so i wont see it until the end of the year (if ever).
