Hi Jalaski,
I am new to this forum and would just like to introduce myself. I recently bought an X Trail and am now having the time of my life driving my Exy around.
I have been following XTrail forums both here and in Malaysia and have so far replaced my filter and spark plugs to the K&N filter and the Volker Iridium plugs.
I am iterested in the Alutec strut bar that you mentioned and would like to know if you have installed this in your Exy. I managed to find a dealer here in Malaysia and the price quoted was RM 470.00. Do let us know what you think if this Strut Bar if you have installed it. Thanks

And Welcome to the Forums.
I do know for a fact that Jalal does not have any Strut Bars on his exy, although I think he is currently doing some investigating for a supplier, as I'm also interested in getting a front one.
What does the "RM" in your previous post stand for?
And where are you from? Malaysia? Can you give us some contacts details of your dealer there? Web-site? Email? Phone numbers?

Thanks to Lightman's link above, I have now contacted the manufacturer asking for a group buy/bulk order and single order prices and hopefully they'll respond soon.
Depending on prices we can then decide to do a group buy or order them direct from them.
This brings us one step closer to getting one, as I have the price above as an indication already of what we could expect

do they do front and rear bars?
would there be any warranty issues with fitting these?

Joe,
Alutec manufacture the front bar only, rear ones are also available by import from Japan, but they take-up just too much space at the back and will stand in the way of bigger items you may wish to transport, so I don't see them being practical.
In regards to warranty concerns, have a read of previous pages in this thread so see what other have stated. It should not affect your warranty in any way.
