Suspension lowered
I have just completed my suspension upgrade to lower the Exy 30 to 40mm it ended up being 35mm so the specifications given were pretty precise I'm very happy with the overall look. With this it inhances the handling as to be expected by lowering the centre of gravity,steering is very responsive, Access in and out of the vehicle and washing and polishing is now a breeze (being able to reach the roof with ease). My wife(the cook) helped me perform this mod as you do need some help with the three stut tower nuts when lifting the stuts back into place. This mod is very reasonably priced RRP=$616.00 I got them at Sydney Shocks in Sydenham and the brand of spring is the best in the world being Eibach.

Hi Dave,
So did you end up changing the shocks? The springs? Or both?
Would you be able to quote us some specs on the old items and the new items you used so that we have something to reference?
Yes pics is a must for this mod,  Am keen to see these.

Hi Noel,
Eibach state the springs are designed to be used with the original struts this mod only got done because of that reason. It is not an over agressive lower but the whole asthetics looks smart.

Dave,
Based on the feedback I got from the guys overseas, they had to do some camber adjustment to the wheels, because lowering the exy resulted is some miss-alignment.
Did you have to do this and have you noticed any wheel displacement?
The affects am talking about were more visible at the rear wheels, where they were not sitting flat on the ground and you can actually see them on angle.
I guess this depends on how much you lower the exy.

Hi Jalal,
Im not worried at the moment but Im quite confident that I will not have to do anything as the camer is still the same before and after plus the information sheet says that you dont need to worry about the camber lowering it 30 to 40 mm only time will tell

No worries Dave, as long as there are no "visible" abnormalities with wheel placement, I think you will be fine. But yeah, I would keep an eye on this for sure.

The difference is not noticeable of course Dave.
Would have been good to take photos of before and after from the same angle to compare.
