Cheers basshead for the reply, i have an ST which i will be changing on my signature, thanks for the advice and will let you know the outcome when Nissan Windsor open Monday am.

Got a phone call from Nissan Windsor yesterday, asked if they could take gearbox out as they need to see what the problem is and also as there were sand around the area, they will be taking photo`s and sending them to Nissan to see if the problem can be rectified under warranty or was the problem caused by driver error is what i got told. Nice one i thought, i was told by numerous people down at Nissan Windsor that the X Trail is more than capable of sand driving, was i missed sold on the X Trail ?

This post should have been posted under Warranty Repairs. You might want to copy your replies into that thread to give other members useful information regarding the warranty repair that will done to your T31 xtrail.
