no we put nobody to shame our cars made the climb on that day , it could of been another way on another day . we do trips to enjoy our xtrails and the sites we are not trying to out do anybody or out show anyone ,i for one have always been around the bush and enjoy finding and exploring this country of ours there is so much to love about australia and the xtrail bring it closer due to their great build . dave thanks for your words of encouragement though but you have achieve a fair amount in your xtrail also cheers all bye

Have to add my congratulations, both for trying and succeeding. Hat's off to all and it just goes to show how far the XTrail will go. That's one steep little hill. I thought there might be some ground clearance problems with some of tree roots. Got to get me a decent set of tyres.

Yeah top effort guys, good to see that you like challenges.
I too thought about it but still not 100% sure of what the Xy is capable of doing. That and the fact that it just clocked up 1 year old too.

kev it does sound sweet but thats not the hunter range trip that was zig zag for for gizmo xtrail 's birthday , it took you that long you forgot when and where no wonder i alwas lead our trips we did.hahaha
