Re: Dronus (Andrew) visit to NSW (Blackheath Discovery Trail) Trip Report

Hi All,

Just wanted to add my thanks to everyone for a great day out, and special thanks to Brett and Dion for providing the post-lunch entertainment. It was a great way to spend such a beautiful day. It was nice to meet a few of the folks we met on the Yengo trip again as well as meeting a few other members as well.

Andrew's new exhaust looks great and new tyres really suit the car as well. There only fractionally bigger than than the ST20's but they seem to fill the guards a little better. Definitely think I'll be getting a set of them when the current tyres are finished.

Tony and Andrew's display of immaculately clean engine bays over lunch had me feeling a little embarrassed.....if you lift the bonnet on mine you'd be hard pushed to find anything under the thick covering of dust and muddy splash marks. I'd almost forgotten that not everything under there is the same colour!

All in all a great day out and looking forward to the next one.

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for coming out to the Blue Mountains on Saturday and for your kind and warm welcome to NSW. There is sure some beautiful countryside up there and i reakon we only saw a small but perfect part of it.

I enjoyed every minuite of it and as previously mentioned it went way to fast.

Overall my 2 weeks in Sydney was a fun and productive time with not only working the first week in the city, but enjoying the second week in and around Sydney and Bathurst.

Thanks to Jalal for everything he organised for me and going out of his way to make me feel welcome. Thanks also to Lambros and the guys at HiTech - you guys are awesome.

We made it back to Adelaide last night after some 4000 odd Km or so in 2 weeks and i think the pets are getting close to forgiving us!

I will never forget to looks on the faces of the people at the horse riding place as we paraded past them, and also watching Bretts exy disappear into the creek bed !

Good times, good company and good memories!
