Gibb River Trip

Just got back from trip to Mt Isa rodeo and places North, where I parked beside fellow member, X 953, at the Info center. I have photo's but I do not know how to put them on forum or if I can..

I towed a Coromal 402 poptop from Brisbane to Mt Isa, Kakadu, Darwin, Kununurra.
Had to leave the van at Kununurra while I did the Gibb River Rd. Then back down to Alice Springs, Coober Pedy, Port Augusta, Flinders Ranges, Broken Hill, Bourke, Glen Innes, Evans Head and back home to Brisbane.

It took about 8 weeks.. and then I was rushing a bit..

Only problem on whole trip was 3 blown fuses in the Fridge, and a wheel alignment in Alice.. Not even a flat..

The X Trail towed the Coromal 402 mainly in 5th gear at about 95 kph, and still had power to spare..What a beast...

there is a comment by Jala about using Photobucket.

Also if you noticed when you are creating a post there is Photobucket link... create and account and off you go.
