Re: blower fan

Hi Ray,

The part number doesn't seem to be correct. It should be 2776612Y000

I can get it for you for $165.00 (brand new from Nissan)

Please check this part number with your dealer again and let me know if you'd like me to order it for you.

P.S. Your dealer will NOT be able to match this price, so there is no point in asking them to do that. It is a special price emoticon

Re: blower fan

Hi Ray,

I never took any VISA card information from anyone before emoticon

Please email me at (sales@australianxtrail.com.au) and I'll let you know the total (incl. postage) so I can go and grab it for you.

Do you know how big this part is and how heavy?

Re: blower fan

hey dont mean to hi-jack the thread but i have a problem with my blower fan...

when I go around right hand corners, it starts making a strange grinding noise.. doesn't sound like a leaf/leaves though... sometimes it stops again when I go around left hand corners.

might have to pull it out and take a look at it, is it easy to access?

hsa anyone else had any similar problems?

Re: blower fan

Hey Tim,

Grinding noise around corners when turning right???

I just hope you're not the 2nd case with a dead rear diff like me (see THIS thread) cause this is exactly the sound I was hearing and only when turning emoticon

If it is the sound you're hearing and it is coming from the back of the car, please start posting the symptoms in the above existing thread and give as much detail about it as possible.

Re: blower fan

Good for you mate. You got me scared there for a sec and I thought the xtrails are having a new epidemic happening LOL emoticon

Very easy to check the blow fan and see if there is anything stuck there, just remove the passenger glovebox and have a look.

Re: blower fan

Jalal,i am sorry to tell you this but the part i received today is the wrong one, this one fits a Ti and not a St.I have sent the part back to the address on the back of the envelope you sent me with a letter with the right number and vin number from my x-trail.I rang up wights nissan and said that he had given me the wrong number and i had purchased one interstate could he swap it over, but No was the answer and then asked for my vin number and said oh dear i have given you the wrong one.I will have to impose on you again as this will have to be done your end so no hurry and have enclosed some money for your time and petrol
The cost could be different to,and if it is less i do not want to know about it,but if it is more let me know and i will fix it up this end.Talk about a saga and putting you to more trouble,i am not to happy about this as i was guided by the parts fellow.I hope you have your vechicle back and every thing is alright. My telephone (landline)has just got back on air as we have had huge rains in gippsland victoria so telsta have just pumped some pits out in the street and every thing seems to be working again.Sorry about this Jalal, but i did my best this end to get it right.Cheers Mate

Re: blower fan

No problems Ray. I have supplied what you have ordered emoticon

I am not sure if they will return it now as it is an electrical part and the invoice clearly states "no returns on electrical parts" but I will see how I go.

I am astonished by the lack of service of the dealer you go to, they have given you the wrong part number and can't even swap a brand new and genuine nissan part with another to at least fix their mix-up??? What kind of dealer would do this?
