1 reversing light not working

Ok my left reversing light appears not to work. I've had a quick look at it and there seems to be nothing wrong.

I seem to recall both working last month, but when I rang nissan today and booked it in for its 10,000kms service. I asked about the light and was told only one or the other actually works on the T31's, not both. This information I find very wrong.

Has anyone else had this interesting story from Nissan before?

If they can't get both working on Thursday or Friday, I'll have a go at it afte work sometime next week.

Mine both work all of the time.
Only the O/S Xys only have one that work, only because the other one is a fog light.

I don't know what they're talking about.

I find it amazing the excuses some dealers use to get out of situation where they need to fix something emoticon

You should have asked them for a demonstration of what they said on another T31 xtrail in their yard.

Better still, ask them in what situation one of them will light up and not the other emoticon

Yeah, I found it weird too, but lets see what happens tomorrow when i drop it off to them.

I tend not to expect all that much from the people that do the service bookings, clerk as a job description is too nice a word for their lack of knowledge.

I have this funny feeling, that I may drive away with 2 working lights.

Blown bulb, poor confused guy who booked it in.

Second warranty item now. Front driver side fog light had to be replaced due to it cracking from the inside.
