2002 X-trail - Horn only works when ignition is off?!! All other times - horn does not work at all.

No mods made - got me buggered.. anyone seen this before?

Hi Dave,

Sounds like you have an earth problem.

When it works with the ignition off, do both horns work (hi and low) or just one of them?

Yeah I would pick a bad earth or a faulty relay....should be an easy fix emoticon

Seems that if I turn the steering wheel the horn works of and on for a while - makes me think its a contact in the steering wheel somewhere. But I'm afraid to open up the steering wheel incase I set off the airbag. - Any ideas?
