damaged front blinker

Image Image Image

Just noticed this afternoon, my front left blinker "glass" is damaged. It actually moves when I touch it so I imagine it will let in dust and water. Time for a bit of sticky tape for the trip back to the Tableland over the next couple days.

No idea what a replacement will cost as too late in the day to check (anyone know an approx cost?). Does it sound/look like I might be able to hold off getting it fixed for a couple months, or should I just go into debt????? emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon

At the rate I'm going lately I reckon I'm in the running for the rattiest xtrail, with two (tiny) dings in the boot, a horse-eaten bonnet and mudguards, and now a broken blinker cover..... plus dust. (Jalal is there an emoticon for extreme embarrassment?)

Julie,

Check eBay as I've seen them sell there for about $35.00 bucks or so.

I reckon it's that damn horse again chewing on your lights now emoticon

The way he's going with his teething, there won't be much left of your exy when he finishes emoticon

P.S. Clear tape should be OK as a temporary work-around.

I'll go do the tape now. Thanks for the ebay tip, will check it out as soon as I get home. A windshield would be easier, just use insurance. Better not push my luck I guess.
