*NEW* Dash mat

Hi Richard and all,

Last weekend I went to Super Cheap Auto to get something and I thought I'll have a look at the dash matts for Richard.

It was then when I stumbled across the new dash matt specifically designed for our exy and it was perfect.

I asked the store manager if I could swap my existing dash matt, which I previously bought, from them (the one without the opening for the glove-box) and the manager said "Yep. No worries" emoticon

It was on special, reduced from $39.95 to $30.95

Here are some pics:

Jalal,

That looks like a much better fit.

And for $30.95 I think I might get one, that's very cheap.

I bet they don't have the special here in Cairns at the moment.

Hi Jalal

Oooo nice, yep definitely a better fit. You must buy a lot of stuff from them if they swapped it over!

I reckon we will get one before summer arrives. It will never be on special here in SA as they told me they don’t stock it. However there is a closer SuperC. near to where I live so I will go in there and ask about it one day soon.

Re: Dash mat

Got one for $30 in Hopper's Crossing today - thnaks for the "heads up". Fit not brilliant though - might have to cut out the holes for the side window demisting vents.
But I'm hoping it will solve the hot driver's glove box dilemma.

SuperCheap should have them, but they're only sold as a set of the upper part.

Anybody know where to get one of these for the left-hand drive models ??

Even a 'link" would be helpful...

Thanks

Re: Dash mat

Just went to Blackburn Nissan and they have the dash mat for both the series 1 and 2, upper and lower part, with the upper part completely covered.

There are two folding sections, one for the air bag so it can release easily, and the other for the storage box infront of the steering wheel like Jalal's.

Sorry but I forgot to get a price and brand name. Plenty in stock though.

Re: Dash mat

Taque,
Tried my local Nissan dealership and they don't have one on their books, which covers the airbag and top glovebox. Any chance of getting the part number.
