Can you please measure the distance of the red line shown in the pic below which is from the bracket of the bonnet to the screw position in the fender?

Now you guys can stay tuned for a professionally made T31 bonnet gas strut kit which I will be receiving from overseas shortly after it is manufactured and after I try it on Paul's exy

What's the latest on this mod?
I'm going to ask a mate today if he can fabricate a bracket for the strut to attach to the bonnet. Will let you know what happens.

Feedback is positive, but I will need to wait until next month when my mate's work load dies down a bit. He reckons it shouldn't take more than approx 3 - 4 hours from woe to go

Had the gas struts fitted today Not as neat as on Clem's T31, but they work. I plan to paint the top brackets electric blue and the bottom brackets black, to blend in properly (probably should call on Dave's expert painting skills for this job .... ;-) ).
