Right. It is now on my "research and test" list after I finish doing a few outstanding circuits for other members first emoticon

Re: Central Locking

Just said that was my preference for an Automatic transmission (which I have emoticon ).

Obviously a manual would be different and suggestions would be welcome.

Re: Central Locking

For manual transmission, the trigger to lock can be set to speed (assuming the T31 has a speed signal sensor which can be tapped into) and unlock when you turn the ignition off.

Re: Central Locking

Could it be possible to hook it up to the accelerator pedal relay somehow. Or even on the throttle body.

This function is available on the T30 but it will only work if you pressed the unlock button on the remote and didn't open any of the doors, only then the doors will self lock after a certain period of time.

How do you get out of the car if you can't open the doors?

Re: Central Locking

I meant if you stand outside the car and do that emoticon or press the unlock button on the remote and the doors will unlock if you try that inside the car.

Re: Central Locking

According to the ESM, the speed voltage is not a straight analog voltage, but apparantly a square wave which I presume changes in either amplitude or average level with speed.

I have borrowed an oscilliscope plugin probe and software from work for my notebook to allow me to capture and plot this signal at various speeds so I can decide what circuit will be needed for this part of the project.

The P and D selector signals are straight voltages which are simple to impliment.

Still in the design stage at the moment.
