T31 Rear Bumper and Diff Bash Plates

Hi Guys,

As reported previously, I was in the process of importing the rear bash plates for the T31 exy but delayed the process, as the manufacturer could not give me 100% confirmation that it will be compatible with the towbar.

After an extended period of time waiting for another manufacturer to design, test and develop the rear bumper bash plates for the T31 based on all of the information and photos I sent them, I'm happy to report that it was indeed produced and will arrive to me before December this year.

The new style rear bumper bash plate is compatible with ALL T31 towbars as it sits lower than the towbar line on the rear bumper.

Here are pics of the T31 Rear Bumper Bash Plate:

The T31 Rear Bumper Bash Plate is 2mm steel and prevents the following from happening to the T31 Rear Bumper which has been experienced by many T31 owners during off-road action

Yes! quite an expensive repair bill if this to happen to your T31 indeed.

The manufacturer then surprised me with another very important protection for the under-carriage of the T31.

It is the Rear Diff Protection Plate, measuring 2.5mm steel

So, between these 2 rear bash plates and the front T31 bash plate currently selling at the Online X-Trail Shop, your T31 exy will transform into one hell of a tank that not only will take you to places never experienced by other xtrailers, but it will take you there and back safely without damage to the under-carriage emoticon

Stay tuned for pricing and availability closer to the end of this year while I organise importation of these goodies.

Now we just need them the replace the 2 plastic guards on the bottom front of the fuel tank with real guards.

I broke one on my holiday and have yet to order the replacement.

Jalal ,when close to time can you email me with price or availability emoticon

These would do well to have on the car since I have done the lift I have been putting the exy in more harder spots than before.

Hey Jalal

Wow! They look great!

Will there be any altered rear bash plates available for those who wish to get the dual exhaust system done? Regardless, I too would be interested to know more about both plates when they become available.

That bit am not sure about because I may have to ask Hi-Tech to modify their set-up to suit T31s with the rear bash plate on because I can't see the manufacturer of these bash plates willing to produce so many design variations to suit every exhaust system set-up out there and they always base it on the factory exhaust system.

I guess things will be clearer when I get these bash plates and take them with me to Hi-Tech to investigate.

When you get one Jalal, HiTech might just have to make a few "mods" to the plate for the current system to fit. Wonder if Andrew would be up for another Sydney visit emoticon

I wonder if there is a T30 version Diff Plate. I could've used one of those on my recent Fraser jaunt. Would've saved me some DIY repair time.

Kian,

Am 90% sure the T31 diff plate will fit the T30, as the diff is exactly the same between the two models.
