T31 Instant Fuel Usage display
We all know that the T31 has a Fuel usage display on the dash. I have come to the conclusion that the value displayed is the average fuel used since it was last reset, not the current (instant) fuel usage.
Has anyone been able to work out how (or if) you can change it to show the current fuel usage? I plugged my dads scangauge2 in on Saturday and it showed a more or less instantaneous fuel usage reading,which proves that the information is available.
If it cant be done i guess ill have to look at getting a scangauge (esp with the aussie dollar being so good at the moment!)

Yes its an average, no you can't change it. There are 2 local suppliers for the scanguage and their prices are quite comparable to the US especially when you add the cost of shipping. Might be an idea for a group buy if enough people are interested as I intend getting one for the Navara.
