Re: Car polish

Hi Dave,

What a weekend, am totally stuffed LOL emoticon

I have been waiting to polish my car for the past 2-3 weeks and then it started raining, so I never got a chance to do so until this weekend.

Got myself the Eagle One Nanowax and after washing the exy went straight to work waxing it.

The result is amazing and the swirl mark have almost gone. I can still see some of light scratches but I think that could have been caused by using a rough rag or something like that. I reckon these will go away if I polish it the second time.

The exy looking in showroom condition. I have never seen it shine like that since I got it emoticon

All Eagle One products are now available at K-mart.

Re: Car polish

How about a 'classic' BEFORE and AFTER shot.

To stop the swirls caused by a rough rag, use cloth nappies, clean of course. A mate regularly runs his black Monaro at SummerNats and he swears by them. He also uses Eagle One products.

Re: Car polish

Hi Jalal & Brett,
I too use nappies but this does depend on how you wash them as they can be hard or soft, you do not need to use fabric softner to get them soft. We have hit rock bottom with post I hope my wife does not see this.
Jalal what is Nanowax is that the replacment to Eagleone WET? Im glad this took most of the scratches out and as Brett stated we need pics to show the transformation

Re: Car polish

Hi Guys,

I always use a shemi to dry the car, but I think when I try and rub the surface the scratches happen, wont be doing that anymore and might try the nappies instead.

Dave, yes, Nano Wax is the latest product introduced by Eagle One and it does when it says it'll do. Amazing difference. HERE it is.

It comes with a cloth too.

As for pics, I was so buggered today after finishing this that I went to bed and just woke-up (it's dark outside) LOL

The 2 photos on the Eagle One website sum it up pretty well.

I have done half of the bonnet and the difference between the polished and non-polished surface was amazing.

Will take some pics tomorrow.

Nathan came around and saw the exy nice and clean, he can tell you what he thinks emoticon

P.S. I also picked-up the Eagle One Wipe & Shine

Short answer is Diapers

Long answer is :

A diaper (NAE) or nappy (CE) is an absorbent garment worn by individuals who are incontinent, that is lack control over bladder or bowel movements, or who are unable to reach the toilet when needed. This group includes primarily infants and young children, as well as the elderly and the physically challenged. There are also people who wear diapers for pleasure and they are called diaper lovers.

Re: Car polish

When I first read the post, I thought they might be "diapers" - - but it was mentioned that they are "washable"....

The only diapers that I know come off the you-know-what of my 2 year old grandson and they are certainly not washable emoticon

Do you use the infant or adult size - sounds like the latter might be better....

I might give them a go....and keep some in reserve for my waining years LOL

The diapers that are being referred to by the guys are the reusable and washable ones, not the disposable ones, so don't start using these on your brand new exy or your dealer will void your warranty and ask you to attend a nappy changing course LOL emoticon

Some pics of my polished exy I took this morning

I forgot to mention that I used this Nanowax on the headlight lenses and it turned into super clear and clean surface and got rid of all stuck dirt and smudges.

Re: Car polish

Love the results mate. As for waxing the headlights to remove the bugs and swirl marks, would this also work on the windscreen or not.

At least with that much shine, if the wife is using the bathroom, you can shave using the bonnet as your mirror.

I wish I had this stuff when I went through the Academy, would have worked wonders on my boots. emoticon
