Re: Carcube

purchased a car cube at the Brisbane 4x4 show before we went on our trip and it came in real handy when the exy became to dusty or dirty.
best thing to have with the recovery gear in the back when on trips.

Re: Carcube

Hi Guys, I just have to tell you this..... Being a newbie I'm gradually working my way thro' the various postings and subjects and this one about the CarCube has had me "gripping" my computer mouse like I was watching a thriller film, rushing to get to the next page to see if order #5 was in, then #6 and then you all ran out of time so Jalal gets an extension and I start breathing again and next page says 2 to go then 1 to go and at this point my mouse is almost collapsing under the pressure then finally # 10..... Geez what a relief, I sat back and wiped the sweat from my brow before carrying on with the delivery side of it all emoticon Then came the reports on how good it performed...... I tell you, I've had a great hours read on this subject.... Thanks Jalal for arranging it all...... Oh BTW I use a Karcher, on the boat that is, I haven't gotten around to washing the exy yet... Heheheh, that'll probably be at the end of summer....... emoticon

Re: Carcube

Al,

I usually remove group-buy threads like these from the forum as the completion of the group-buy, as the reading of them is not that exciting anyway...but can make you sweat as you've experienced LOL emoticon

I just thought I'd leave this thread for future readers to get first hand feedback about this magic bucket and a product 10 of us have used, to save you and any other readers from doing a research about them.

I'm happy to report that my CarCube is still working fine by the way emoticon

I'm glad to hear that mate, but I have mentioned before on the Forum that washing cars is against my religion..... In fact we're on water restrictions over here in Dullsville and only allowed to use the reticulation twice a week to water our gardens and only for an hour each time that's why I've got the Karcher Power Washer ..... And just between you and me I do wash my cars, but not often enough to claim any medals....... Al emoticon

Re: Carcube

Hey Al,

We all bought the carcube during the water restrictions as it was the only way we were allowed to wash our cars emoticon

Re: Carcube

Anyone else had trouble with the inlet spigot on the carcube breaking off?

Be careful when attaching/removing the hose connector, I bumped mine & it snapped off.

A replacement/upgrade part is available that replaces the spigot & connector. The new spigot is made of metal not plastic so should last much longer.
Cost was $13 including postage, If you can order it from a local supplier the part is only $6.
I ordered off their website & only took a few days to arrive. Now just got to get around to fitting it.

Re: Carcube

Thanks for the heads-up Dave. Mine is still going OK.

I might order that part just in case anyway.
