body side mouldings, does it help?

I'm thinking to put these on my exy, it cost around $200 emoticon for the set. I just wonder if it's worth to have them, do they really help to protect the door panels from denting by some other careless drivers who just dont care when open their vehicle's doors, mine already got one small dent. I parked next to another exy the other day that had them on, they look quite big but kinda of cool emoticon.

Jo,

Please send me an email at the Online X-Trail Shop (sales@australianxtrail.com.au) and I can get the genuine Nissan body side moulding for you for HALF that price (for all 4 doors).

The part number for these door mouldings for the T31 xtrail is: KE760-JG020

Just make sure you have enquired about the right set for the T31.

So around $160 for 4 pieces, that's a very good price Jala. I wish I lived in Sydney. Have you ever intalled this before, is it easy to do? I'm guessing that there will be some sort of clue involved. I'm thinking to buy them and have them installed at the nissan dealer at the first service which is 2 months away, they may charge me extra for this.

I'm sure they will stick on with double sided tape as what most accessories like this are.

You need to work on your maths mate LOL emoticon Jo was quoted $660.00 for all 4 doors as the price shown in his post is for ONE door.

They have strong 3M double-sided tape at the back of them, so they just stick in place.

Re: body side mouldings, does it help?

Hi again fellas,

I was so excited I went to show my exy to my mechanic and his jaw just hit the floor emoticon

Anyway, luck was on my side coz one of his customer had ordered the side mouldings and fog lights but didn't pick them up and he gave them to me so cheap I took them and run emoticon

I have to agree with Jalal, side moulding will protect your door from those inconsiderate ppl in the parking lot. They are not hard to install either and the double sided tape is very strong.
