Re: X-Trail Tail Lights Modification
Wow Chris, They look awesome indeed and you're absolutely right in saying that they look nice on the silver exy cause the black border outline of the tail lights shows up much clearer than on my black exy for sure.
Well done mate. 1 and 1/2 hours is not bad at all, considering it took me nearly 3 hours to do being the first one to have them fitted

Re: X-Trail Tail Lights Modification
Hi Guys,
Chris has grabbed the last set of LED Tail Lights when I had them, but since then I have been constantly asked about them as it is one super cool modification that will transform the look of the exy indeed.
I have ordered more of them and happy to report that the Genuine Nissan LED Tail Lights are now in stock!

============================
I made a led conversion. this is not my first led application on cars but this time it is looking like it is stock. i also installed leds interrior but no photos yet. only dash gauge is stock.
i used 8 mm wide, flexible smd led stripes. i bought it from a local store here, and paid USD 17 for red color (1 meter).
it took 3 hours for two tail lights. i melt two holes on proper positions at back of tail lights and installed led stripes by tightining them from two sides of stripes, inside taillight and fixing them with CA glue at back. again i soldered 78xx series regulators to regulate 11.7 volts at output.
here are few pictures. actual look is much better than photos.

Re: X-Trail Tail Lights Modification
Looks good, now all you have to do is the fog light and the reflectors.
