Hi all
Does anyone know how to change the time on the radio clock for Series 1 ST. I cant!! and its not in the manual.
Jalal - Knowing your love of car washing - my patrol needs a lot of attention if you have some free time!
I didn't even know that series 1 ST's had a clock in the radio/CD, as I always use the one in-dash.
Never had to change the clock on the radio and why would you, if the dash has already got it and it's very easy to change (just press the knob and turn or something like that)
I would have washed your Patrol, but it's a bit bigger than my X-Trail, so would take twice as long to wash, haven't got that much spare time on my hands at the moment

Re: Radio and clock
Good stuff Shane
Mate, you do have a clock display on the 6CD stacker in the Ti (series II) and the ST (series I & II). There is no clock display option in the Ti (series I)
The instructions on how to turn clock mode on/off are detailed on page 3 of your audio system manual, but here it is anyway.
While the ignition switch is set to ACC, turn off the AUDIO system and do the following:
To turn the clock mode ON, push the PRESET BUTTON (i.e. number 4), while pushing down the MODE.TUNE BUTTON (at the same time) for more than 6 seconds.
During normal audio unit operation, you can have either the radio station displayed or you can have the clock displayed, by pressing the DISP Button.
Hope this helps.

Re: Radio and clock
Oh yes, how could I forget the bloody 10A fuse
Open the centre arm-rest and the fuse should be there If it's not there, just use one of the spare ones provided inside the fuse pannel.
Check this location on the fuse pannel under the steering column
P.S. Cool for the RFL & Stickers, just make sure you use your username as the reference, so I know it's you

Re: Radio and clock
Have been through this.
Page 3 and 4 in the audio supplementary manual as Jalal said - toggle time display on/off : with the ignition on but the audio off simultaneously press channel preset button 6 and the tune/seek down button (now why didn't you think of trying that - so intuitive)
To set the time, with the clock on, hold the "audio" button down for more than three seconds and the clock time will flash;
preset 1 advances the hours
preset 2 advances the minutes
preset 6 sets minutes to 00 (and advances the hour if in the 30-59 minutes)
"audio" restarts the clock.
BTW I notice on page 11 the diagram of the back of the unit is the same as tino66's photo - I suspect a wiring diagram for that round socket at the left hand end would show up the "line in" which could be used for a phone or mp3/iPod unit.
I think the comments about twisting the knob refer to the clock in the speedo (press the knob in to cycle from trip meter A to trip meter B to clock.
