The switch blanks measure, 35mm high (long) and 20mm wide.
There are about 10 odd of these and they all share the same measurement.

Thanks Tony,

Can you please take photos showing the blank spots on the driver's side and also one of the blanks removed?

Here is a pic of the drivers side blank switches. I could not get one of them out because I could see myself damaging them, they have a very rigid top & bottom clip.

Re: T31 Fog lights

Thanks Tony,

I swapped the working pic in your post.

By the way and for future reference should you need it. The easiest way to remove the blanks is by popping them out from behind by removing the fuse box cover and sticking your hand through the back so you can push them out.

I did try it from behind, and then as a last resort from the front, I pushed so hard my finger almost bled.
There must be some sort of trick to it.

Dear T31 owners,

I am arranging for an import of an aftermarket set of fog lights to suit the T31 xtrail (petrol and diesel) and have been sent a sample set along with wiring harnesses, dash switch...etc to try.
....
They look exactly like the factory one and are made in Belgium. If you're interested, please send me a PM.

Jalal,
I've send you a PM - but is there any chance Your source will ship one set to Poland ? or I could buy directly, if possible

Re: T31 Fog lights

Hi Andy,

I will be importing these fog lights for the T31 xtrail soon, I am just waiting for the right moment to order them as the Australian Dollar is pretty low at the moment compared to US Dollar.

Stay tuned and I will announce their availability in this thread.

Tony,

had a similar problem when mounting a switch for my Driving Lights - The trick is to pull the two clips towards the middle and then push the blank in towards the front of the car - not towards the rear. emoticon

Had me cursing for ages until I worked it out.

BTW 35mm x 20mm Switches fit perfectly into the slot.

Cheers,
Andy
