At least we now know that you're from Brunei, as your Intro Post was full of other details, except your location
P.S. Please update your profile and signature with the relevant info.
Nice set-up.

Re: Garmin GPS in X-trail
I'm running a Mio Moove360 in my XTrail.... and will soon be hacking it to run OziExplorerCE - which can run full topo / track mapping in place of "just""street mapping as standard.

Re: Garmin GPS in X-trail
Hey, you guys in Borneo didn't get cruise control switches on the steering wheel. It looks plain without them.
I like the bean bag idea under the GPS, does it moove around at all?

Re: Garmin GPS in X-trail
I have the Garmin Nuvi 765 parked just above the stereo in that little alcove. Need to rehash the fitting of it.
Fits nicely, but I do get the problem of the window mount part not adhering to the plate enough and the entire thing coming lose. Solved that little problem by using double sided tape on the plate and just removing the entire thing and redoing it after about 3 weeks on dirt tracks.
Its only come lose twice total now. First time I pulled it off to take to work and put in my work car for the week.

Re: Garmin GPS in X-trail
Hi all
Just bought a Nuvi 765 on the weekend, took it to Melbourne and it went great in the hire car - but haven't tried it in the Exy yet.
Has anyone semi-permanently installed any GPS as yet? Just wondering how it might go sitting in one of the spare DIN slots.
Cheers

Re: Garmin GPS in X-trail
Oh and I did find an X-Trail icon for the Garmin, after a bit of googling...
I'm impressed with the quality and detail, unfortunately I don't seem to be able to get a bigger image.
