Re: LPG autogas
Just had a JTG liquid injection system fitted to my 2004 Xtrail. There appears to be a slight increase in power. It runs well. Had this done in western sydney, happy to answer any questions, to the best of my limited ability.

Re: LPG autogas
hi guys,
I have been awaiting the tech guys for a response so sorry for the delays.
i'm not sure about the triton on gas, can we have some more details about the type of system which was put on, as this will give us a clue as to what has happened.
We have many injection systems running on tritons without hiccups and have been running for a long time.
As for the Eurogas system on the Xtrail, we have hundreds of cars running on LPG, very successful and very happy customers, it would also appear, from other responses on the net, that the xtrail is very well suited to LPG. Shane can you tell me whom you have been speaking with at Aust. LPG Warehouse so we can check it out further?
The JTG liquid injection system is a far more conservative system for your car, exhaust emission tests show the system runs at exhaust temperatures lower than petrol. So in turn is far better for your engine.
regards
Peter

No worries RJ,
I'm off to have a sqwiz at the car this morning and get an update. As soon as I get an outcome one way or the other I'll put up a post. Fingers crossed!!
Shane.
Do you have an outcome yet Shane?
Cheers,
RJ

Hi Frank,
Could you give us an update on the JTG Liquid LPG system as I am very seriously thinking of having this conversion done myself before the end of the year.

Re: LPG autogas
Sorry about slow reply. Gas consumption was initially around 11 l /100km. As the car has racks, tow bar nudge bar and wife is not the most frugal driver, I was quite happy. After a service - not at the lpg installer - lpg usage has crept up to close to 20 l /100km. Car will be going back to installer for them to look at shortly. They have been very helpful and as I have not heard of any similar experiences I think this is a one off.

Re: LPG autogas
Please keep us updated Frank.
If this is a system fault it would be nice to know what the problem is and if regular services are needed, as the installer I considered using is quite some distance away for regular drop-ins.
