Look inside your drivers door, there should be a white placard near the latch of the door.
(I have a feeling it will only be there if you ordered the towbar on purchase of car).
There you will find that for all varieants, 50kg is the limit.
The variants rise to 200kg but the GVM also reduces.
Towball download
50kgs, all variants.
100kgs, GVM reduces by 60kgs.
150kgs, GVM reduces by 150kgs.
200kgs, GVM reduces by 250kgs.
I tried to take a photo but it wouldn't turn out.

Thanks Jalal thats the one - I have uploaded pics on here before, although would be a good idea for me to revisit that post...I must've fluked it when I did it last time.
Tony ive got the sticker on the door - never knew it was there!
So what is the definition of "trailer towing only" mean?

Not sure what that 50KG towball limit is referring to, but that is less than the load rating of the roof racks at 70KG

GVM is described as follows, taken from Jalal's post in this thread

Kev, couldn't have said it better myself.
Jalal, the maximum weight a pair of Nissan T31 roof racks can carry is 80kg, still not much.
The 50kg allows for the weight of the entire towbar itself as part of the Xy's GVM.

Fair enough, but I have never heard of the 50KG towball limit being referred to for towing and I think it could have confused someone if not explained.

Has anyone fitted the T31 tow bar themselves that already had reverse sensors?
Ive managed to source a genuine tow bar & harness at a very good price. After ringing my local tow bar place wanting $280 im thinking if I should do it myself, the only part that im worried about is cutting the rear bar. Stephen how did you cut yours?

Stephen had his fitted by an installer I am sure!
Is there a plug and go if you know what I mean?
As in a connector there waiting for the trailer wiring?
Or would you have to splice wires?

I also have a genuine Nissan harness so it just clips in.
It looks fairly easy to install, the harness came with instructions. As mentioned, cutting the rear bumper is my concern. Can anyone give suggestions/thoughts on how to cut it?

Go to members rides and take a look at Stephens ride or ask a member to take a photo of the surround of a Nissan tow bar to see where they made the cuts.
Looking at the rear ,I would think you take out the panel that is recessed ?
