Of course mate and that's why we're here...to fix these things
And by the way, I bet you would also have two O2 sensors instead of one like ours, in which case there is a solution for that too.

Re: *NEWS FLASH** Nissan X-Trail ST-S Limited Edition (Australia)**
We also can't pay for your new X-Trail, either
Nissan seems to be making a habit of downgrading/de-tuning their line-up...
Pulsars lost the legendary SR20DE 2.0L engine a few years ago, with the maximum being 1.8L with the release of the N16 model. I haven't paid any attention to their replacement of the Pulsar (Tiida) but wouldn't be surprised if it's only got a maximum engine size of 1.6L...
At least, as Jalal stated, it's a relatively easy fix to get your power back by simply upgrading the exhaust. The % increase would be double what Jalal and others have got as yours would have more restrictive parts removed (but you wouldn't actually have more power than older X-Trails with the exhaust upgrade, but alot more than other new X-Trails would!)

Re: *NEWS FLASH** Nissan X-Trail ST-S Limited Edition (Australia)**
Well I pick up my new 2006 STS Auto this Thursday! (6th April)
Only a new member here, so lots to learn.
With the new April Nissan dealer rebate on stamp duty and rego, if you bargin and get the car sales reps to grovel at your feet, you should be able to get one (2006 STS-auto metallic paint) for $32,000 drive away no more to pay. (I actually got a fleet discount as well so only paid $31,150 but you need a business fleet for that price).
Cheers
Luke

Luke,
You got a great deal. I'm moving to Sydney next week and want to buy an X-Trail. How long is the rebate on for and which dealer (if you live in Sydney that is!) did you use?

Re: *NEWS FLASH** Nissan X-Trail ST-S Limited Edition (Australia)**
I cant believe the ST-S is down on that much power! I never knew that when I purchased the car 8( .
Do you guys really think that a second cat would cost the engine almost 10kw ? I personally think its a reprogram in the ecu along with the cat to lower emissions etc.
